About Us
Founded in 2003, Biwa Studio run by Kumo, Inc. is a commercial photography and high-speed digital movie studio in Long Island City, NY.
We specialize in high speed still life, especially water and liquids.
Biwa Studio is essentially comprised of photographers/cinematographers: Tomoya Hara and Jackson Notier
We accept assignments both collectively and on an individual basis. Portfolios can be sent to you upon request.
Rights Managed Images
Rights Managed images are available for custom retouching and immediate sale to clients. Not all the images are fully retouched, and we are able to custom retouch them to suit the clients color and compositing needs upon sales of the image under very quick turnaround.
